A. The School is situated on a 15 acre campus, in Lihiya nagar, Katihar.

A. The school is about 20 Kms from Katihar Bus stand.

Q. How can we go by bus or by train?

A. There are buses every one hour going to Lohiya nagar. They take approx 1 hrs to reach here. You can also take auto rikshaw.

A. Yes, The school is affiliated to Bihar Government.

Q. How does school Society control the school?

A. We have to follow all rules and regulations of the school Society. The school society recruit the staff conducts regular trainings for them and controls the academics and system.

Q. How big is the school and what infrastructure has been provided?

A. The pollution free 15 acre campus is nestled in a cup shaped valley at the foothills of the Shivalik ranges. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. We have provided a computer & projector in classes and other teaching aids, including Internet and multimedia. Physics, Chemistry, Life – Science, Language, Multimedia, Computer, History, Geography Labs have been provided. A Wireless LAN has been set up to access the Internet. We have a well-equipped Library, play grounds and swimming pool. Thee are separate hostel for Junior Boys, Senior Boys and Girls..................................

Q. How big is the hostel? What do you provide to them?

A. Hostels are large and airy with capacity of 100 children each with a common room for their leisure and spare time activities................

Q. Is the girl hostel separate?

A. We have separate hostel for girls. In fact the Senior boys hostel and the girls hostel are in different campus separated by a gate and a security guard.

Q. Who looks after the boarder students?

A. There are Wardens / Matrons, Housemasters and tutor to look after the boarders.

Q. How do you remove the academic shortcomings of the hostlers?

A. Remedial classes are held in the afternoon & the evening for the subjects children are weak in.

Q. What do the children do in the weekends?

A. Certain activities are organized in the campus or they are taken out in an organized way.

Q. When do they go for outings? Who accompanies them?

A. Once in a month. They are escorted by Warden or teachers.

Q. When can the parents meet the children?

A. Once in a month. Parents can take their child on the last Saturday for a night out.

Q. What is the mode of communication between the children and their parents?

A. They can ring up on the specific days and timings.

A. Yes on specific days and timings.

Q. How are parents informed about the progress of their ward?

A. Parents are informed quarterly about their child's progress at school. They can meet teachers on PTMs and with prior appointments otherwise.

A. We follow a zero tolerance system. No act of indiscipline is ignored. We take immediate action.

Q. How is the food in the hostel?

A. Quality home-style hygienic, nutritious veg. and non-veg. Indian, Chinese and Continental food is served in the hostel. Milk is served three times a day. Fruit and dessert once everyday. The food is wholesome, nutritious and tasty.
